Rooftop dining igloos with views of Cathedral are now open

Cosy: Customers in the domes are assured to be kept warm, even in the Winter

Lincoln TapHouse and Kitchen has unveiled a new set of igloos that boast stunning views of the Cathedral and the Castle.

These domes sit on the roof of the restaurant, are three and a half metres wide and are made from clear PVC and timber. Each dome contains sheepskin blankets and built in heaters.

Patrons of the domes will be given a choice from an exclusive gin cocktail range, and an á la carte menu. Customer Chloé Jackson said: “It’s so nice to be able to dine under the stars, especially with the stunning view of the Cathedral in front of you.”

“It is an experience I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a special night out in Lincoln.” It is free to book for tables of eight, and prices for smaller groups start from £25 to £150, depending on what you book.
