University of Lincoln students to design cover of next Visit Lincoln's 'What's on' guide

Display: You can see the designs yourself at Lincoln Cathedral

A University of Lincoln student's design will be used as the next cover of Visit Lincoln's What's On guide.

The designs are on display at the Chapter House in Lincoln Cathedral.

Visitors have been asked to vote for their favourite.

The guide will be focused on RAF centenary celebrations and Europe's largest streampunk festival.

Rachael Bishop and Amanda McSorley held the competition for third-year illustration students.

Amanda said: "When we chose RAF 100 and Steampunk as a subject we did wonder if we had been too restrictive, but we needn't have worried as the exhibition has some really diverse pieces."

The exhibition also includes a video installation by the winner of the UK-wide Ideas Festival and Lincoln Minister School student, Ben Harris.
